Room was very spacious, with a large bath and patio. Everything was in order and the best part was the host. Natalie was very helpful, kind and accommodating!

Val and Neil are just the best—so friendly, super helpful, and really fun to chat with. We honestly don’t know what we would’ve done without all their tips and help organising tours. And the food? Oh my gosh, it was incredible! The breakfast was massive—I couldn’t believe they packed such a big one for our self-drive safari day. It was such a thoughtful touch and kept us going all day. Dinner was hands down the best meal I had in South Africa—so delicious and exactly what we needed after a long day out. The pool was a lifesaver on those hot days, and having animals wandering around made it all even more special. Huge thanks to Val and Neil for making our stay so wonderful! We’ll never forget it.

There is also a stovetop, toaster and a kettle. What a fabulous accommodation. From the outside setting area to the pool to the indoor decorations. Everything fabulous, clean and comfortable. Wildlife in backyard every evening and morning sometimes too. They arranged three full day game drives with Foxi Safari for us. What an adventure. Everything fabulous. Would definitely stay again.

The lodge, the service, the location, dinner and breakfast, and the kindness of the hosts were ALL AMAZING!

This property features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Amazing environment and scenery. Very friendly, helping, accommodating and customer-service centered staff. Extremely delicious food. Exotic animals can be seen all the time on the premises of the lodge. Room has everything, very luxurious, cozy and comfortable. Competent, helpful and friendly receptionist. Wonderful host and manager/owner!!! Prima location!

The luxury tent was stylish and cozy. The exotic and eclectic decor throughout, from the tent to the common areas, created a unique and captivating atmosphere. Breakfast was wonderful, and dinner was an amazing experience, beautifully prepared and presented. Wildlife often wandered close by, offering magical encounters. The hosts were warm, attentive, and made the entire stay truly special. This lodge is a perfect blend of wilderness, luxury, and charm—we can’t wait to return!

Kambaku River Lodge is set within 20 km of Malelane. The Kruger Nation Park Malelane Gate is 23 km from the property and Leopard Creek Country Club is 22 km away. Beautifully decorated accommodation in the most beautiful setting. One could not ask for a better way to treat yourself. Staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Room size and privacy is awesome and the room offers more than needed. The food was delicious and the way it was served right in front of our room was extra special, not to mention how lovely the table was set. We enjoyed watching the elephants and hippos right in front of Kambaku River Lodge.

The lodge has various dining areas like the terrace, fire pit or traditional boma where you can enjoy your meals. The restaurant offers a set menu. The hosts! They really felt like family when we left! And everything was beautiful, and we loved the wild animals on property, it was special. The food was exceptional! Friendly staff.
