Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. This property is superb in all regards. The hosts, Elza and Albert, are gracious, welcoming, and ever so helpful. We just returned from almost 3 weeks in South Africa, staying in a number of guest houses. Riverside was our most enjoyable stay. We regretted not having booked a longer stay at this wonderful establishment. The attention to detail in all matters of the accommodation are quite remarkable, really. This is a must stay when in the Outdshoorn/George area. The breakfast room and fare were very upscale without feeling stuffy. Food was delicious!

We had an unbelievably amazing stay at Swartberg Game Lodges! The staff were super friendly, we could watch the animals right from our balcony, and the game drive was absolutely fantastic. We can only recommend it to everyone!

Surrounded by vineyards and offering a view of the Swartberg Mountains, De Kombuys is situated on a wine farm 3 km from the Cango Caves and 23 km from the town of Oudtshoorn. De kombuys is an exceptional experience to have. The extraordinary surroundings and the organic farm to plate philosophy really does make it an unforgettable and unique experience that we will definitely want to repeat.

Thanks Hennie, we had a wonderful stay at Thabile Lodge, unfortunately only for one night. The room is perfectly cleaned, and we felt like at home talking with you and your wife in the dinner room, next to the wood stove and stroking your lovely dogs! And last but not least, the dinner and the breakfast were amazing!

Located in the Assegaay Nature Reserve just outside the town of VanWyksdorp, Rooiberg Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool and on-site restaurant all surrounded by the Rooiberg Mountain Range. Restaurant, staff and grounds were all immaculate. The area is remote and quiet. The accommodations here make the trip worthwhile! The service by all the staff was incredible.

The rooms were beautiful and spacious with aircon. Lush gardens and a very nice pool area. Centrally located. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Surval Boutique Olive Estate offers elegant accommodation near Oudtshoorn. Staff people were very friendly and went out of their way at all times to make sure we were happy. Food was very good-we tried ostrich. Walking through the olive groves was beautiful. For runners, it is an excellent place to stay as they have created a running path through the property.

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is an authentic and contrasting natural space, conveniently located along Route 62, a mere 3.5 hours from Cape Town in the arid Little Karoo. The entire experience is 5 stars. The small lodges make it feel very personal and intimate. Our drives only had 5 people on a 9/10 passenger vehicle making it very comfortable. The food and drinks were great. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Duckpond Lodge! From the moment we arrived, Richard went above and beyond to make our visit truly special. He was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and took extra care to arrange thoughtful gifts for a special birthday celebration, which was such a delightful surprise. The lodge itself was charming, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations, and it’s clear that Richard genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. We couldn’t recommend Duckpond Lodge more and will definitely be returning!
