With mountain views, Thabile Lodge is located in Oudtshoorn and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The lodge was everything we had hoped for, and the view from our lodge was mesmerizing. The lush garden filled with birds provided a serene retreat, and the pool was the perfect place to relax and 'rest the soul' (and if the soul requires a cocktail, that can be arranged too 😌). The restaurant was quaint, offering delicious ostrich specialties...as we are in ostrich capital of the world! However, what truly set this experience apart was the hospitality of Len, Hennie, Leigh-Vonne and all staff. They didn’t just welcome us—they created a genuine sense of connection, making us feel like more than just travelers passing through. Genuine, warm ...ánd fun! They made all the difference, turning a great stay into an unforgettable one.

Rooiberg Lodge is 156 km from George Airport. The location was perfect and lovely accommodation. Excellent service and a wonderful spa treatment. Highly recommend! Excellent value for money. Good food and choice of wines.

It is located in a restored 18th-century building and features panoramic views of the Schoemanshoek Valley and Swartberg Mountain Range. Staff people were very friendly and went out of their way at all times to make sure we were happy. Food was very good-we tried ostrich. Walking through the olive groves was beautiful. For runners, it is an excellent place to stay as they have created a running path through the property.

Our guide was wonderful we just loved everything. Note this is a conservation lodge there is not a plethora of animals but the time with animals was wonderful.
