We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

Located in Addo, Charihandra Game Lodge features free WiFi throughout, air conditioning and private parking is available on-site. Guests can enjoy swimming at the outdoor pool. Chrihandra has suffered damage from the strong winds and relocated me to a partner property. They were extremely attentive and covered my expenses in the other place which was equally good and equipped! I look forward to stay at Charihandra in the future!

Located on a private concession within the malaria free Addo Elephant National Park, River Bend Lodge offers luxury accommodation, spa facilities and private game drives. Free WiFi is available. The grounds were really beautiful with cottages surrounding artfully landscaped grounds that were filled with birdsong. The chef was truly excellent and we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners. Our park ranger, Paul MacKenzie, was outstanding. He knew the wildlife really well and had many tales from his interesting life. Rafa, one of the elephants blessed us with his presence at the gate on the day of our game drive and were fortunate to spend a lot of time with one of the lions. The Park concession was very good because it gave us long views. In contrast, during our solo drive from the bottom of Addo to the top, there was large bush obscuring views. I found the staff at River Bend to be really friendly and enjoyed my many conversations with them, particularly time spent talking to Jenna. I also enjoyed talking to Gladys, who worked in the kitchen. She and I share an interest in sewing with Shweshwe. We highly recommend River Bend. It is truly a 5 star experience.

Offering panoramic views of the Zuurberg Mountain Range, Camp Figtree by The Oyster Collection features a variety of game drives, safaris and game walks. This location is the perfect couples getaway. All of the rooms are at least 40 meters apart and boast some magnificient views of the Zuurberg mountains. Dinner and drinks prices were more than acceptable and Camp Figtree was the highlight of my month long stay in South Africa. Staff were amazing too and we especially enjoyed our interactions with Siya and Mzi.

Just 12 km from the Addo Elephant Park, these African style huts have luxurious interiors and a shared swimming pool. We had a lovely time at Chrislin. The bed was comfy and the water hot. It did get a little chilly in the room but there was a small heater provided which was appreciated. The grounds were really lovely, and the food was great. Nice and close to the addo main gate for our drive home after night safari.

You can’t go wrong here - beautiful nature with fantastic, safe walking opportunities. Home-cooked, traditional food which was such a treat! We absolutely loved our stay at Valley Bushveld Lodge.

Situated on a secluded eco-reserve, Hitgeheim Country Lodge is an owner-managed lodge offering daily open safari vehicle drives into the Addo Elephant National Park where guests may experience viewing... Lovely and clean. All staff amazing and helpful. Great views. Really enjoyed our stay, would love to come back one day. Would recommend to anyone.
