We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

Apart from the beautiful tent and view from the tent, we could see so many starts and the entire milkiway from our balcony, which was mesmerizing. Apart from all of that Mike is a very nice host and we had some good talks, he made us lovely dinner and breakfast and helped us if needed and provided recommendations and directions.

The lodge is beautiful and very well equipped with everything you need as for example a fan for cooling and a heater and extra blankets. The lodge is equipped with a double bed, a working desk, a wardrobe, a kitchen and a bathroom. We especially liked the incredible view from the terrace. Ingrid was an amazing host, she was very caring and helpful. She booked great tours in the reserves around the area for us.

Port Elizabeth is 35 km from Charihandra Game Lodge, whereas Addo is 19.4 km away. Chrihandra has suffered damage from the strong winds and relocated me to a partner property. They were extremely attentive and covered my expenses in the other place which was equally good and equipped! I look forward to stay at Charihandra in the future!

The inner garden and courtyard are just beautiful... especially in the golden hours

The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with comfortable beds that ensured a great night’s sleep. Each room was equipped with air conditioning, making it perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. We especially loved the outside area, which offered stunning views of the beautiful garden and farm—a perfect spot to unwind. The breakfasts were well-organized and delicious, while the dinners were nothing short of divine. The campfire evenings and the refreshing swimming pool added a magical touch, making our stay unforgettable. If you're planning a visit to Addo, look no further than Chrislin. The Lodge is situated on a private game reserve, which boasts over 17 species of wild game animals, including a large family of giraffes. Safaris and day trips can be arranged.

Valley Bushveld Country Lodge serves authentic South African cuisine. During cold winter evenings, guests can enjoy a drink in the lounge with a huge fireplace. It was so clean and more than i excepted,the host were fantastic ,they catered for everything,the giraffe safari is great,you never know how tall a giraffe is until you have stood next to one,if you go to Port Elizabeth everyone should go here,very tranquil the food is excellent the views and finding or seeing the wildlife that is on the property is well worth looking for,I spent three days here and if I go back to Port Elizabeth I will definitely stay here afain

Amazing spot, comfortable beds, great food, easy to reach from the N2 highway -- a wonderful spot that I will recommend to friends for relaxing or visiting the Addo region.
