From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home with his kindness, warmth, and attention to detail. The cabins are brand new, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped—sharp knives, quality cookware, a coffee machine, and even reusable water bottles to help reduce waste. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor living space is perfect for relaxing. We loved being surrounded by nature—waking up to the sounds of monkeys, spotting sloths in the trees, and seeing toucans and flying toads right outside our window. The beach is stunning, and David even provided beach mats and bags to make our days by the ocean even better. He went above and beyond, offering to bring us groceries from town and sharing great conversations over a beer, making us feel like old friends.

Featuring free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as snorkelling and cycling. Such an exceptional location and accommodation! Being 2 minutes from the amazing beach, but at the same time living in the middle of the jungle was the top experience in Panama. Even though the house gives the natural rustic vibes, it has all the neccessary amenities and is perfectly thought through. We did not want to leave and for sure will be back again!

Jungle Paunch is a fantastic place to stay, and I would absolutely come back to this place. It's right down the road from the ocean and within walking distance to a few restaurants. The howler monkeys are loud in the morning, but it's exciting to be able to stay in nature and experience it so closely. Overall, you are instantly relaxed when you arrive at Jungle Paunch.

There is a children's playground and a barbecue at this property and guests can go hiking and snorkelling nearby. Beautiful and passionate owners with the cutest little button of a kid. The food is made by the staff with fresh fruits and vegetables, and they are very attentive to food requirements. The room was comfortable and homely, waking up to the sound of nature was blissful. Abel gives you a list of birds you can spot around with photos and they are keen to share their knowledge (they are both biologists). We could've stayed for another week, so very peaceful

The small resort size contributed to friendly conversation amongst the international clientele. Staff was great and attentive to every need.
