The stay was fantastic, I was very impressed by the property, the beautiful rooms and the views, vegetations around. Short walk to a beautiful sandy beach, which you can have by yourself, nobody was around, just you and nature. Larissa and Tom were the best hosts I have had for a long time, nowadays you often don't even meet the persons you are staying at. But Tom and Larissa were the true and very kind and friendly faces of the Cliffs Lodge, they went beyond to make every guest happy and satisfied! I took both dinner and breakfast, which Larissa preopared and was the best meals during my entire trip to New Zealand. This place is a gem and will be a great success for sure and is an accommodation made with heart! Thank you for having me, I am very lucky to have found this accommodation!

This place is perfect in so many ways. Host meeting you on arrival - staff appear whether you wander out of your room and ask if they can assist. Amazing service. Every member of the team was perfectly polite, engaging, and responsive. They will organise anything that you want - trips across the surrounding area. One couple had a helicopter trip and it literally landed on the lawn of the place. That is defeintly the way to end a long day! Location - stunning is the word you will probably read most about this place. And it actually is. Room - we had the room with the terrace - I would book this again - as you walk straight out from your room into a courtyard which is in the shade and sun in the afternoon. This is an all-inclusive accommodation - it has to be as it is a trek from the local towns. The food was extremely good. It was never too much or too little the chief has got the balance right. At the end of the trip I left items in the room (very annoyed with myself) the owner looked after them and made sure we got them back. Everything was amazing

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. We had the most amazing experience staying here. The hosts Sarah and John go above and beyond! Our room was immaculate, the view is out of this world, the living area was such a beautiful space for guests to enjoy. The place is luxury and quality through out. There is nothing they haven't thought of. Comfortable beds, quality linen, heated flooring in the bathroom. Breakfast is excellent with a lovely menu to choose from. In the evening we enjoyed a glass of wine, you can also order by the bottle and order an amazing grazing platter. We absolutely loved our time here. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The location, the hosts, the accommodation, and the food were all amazing. Exquisite attention to detail!

Specialty juices. Dinner was an add in but start with drinks and canapés. Excellent food right on site. Nice at the end of a long hiking day
