From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and hardworking staff who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unforgettable. The facilities are top-notch, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and adventurous stay in the Arctic wilderness. The snow gear provided was of excellent quality, keeping us warm and allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning surroundings. The sauna was a cozy haven, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our trip was witnessing the Northern Lights for two consecutive nights—a breathtaking display we’ll never forget. Adding to the magic, we spotted two wild moose during our stay, a surreal moment that truly connected us to the untamed beauty of the area. A special thanks to Thomas, the owner, whose kindness and attention to detail made our experience even more memorable. He helped us find exciting activities and ensured we felt welcome every step of the way. The setting of the campsite is beyond words—raw, wild, and incredibly beautiful. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and experience the wonders of the Arctic, this is the place to be. When we first booked our trip, we were torn between staying in the North part of the island, where the scenic route is, but after talking to Hege we were fully convinced to stay in Norwegian Wild and experience nature at its fullest. Everything about this place is just magical! We saw the northern lights multiple nights in a row, from the comfort of our cabin, and it was stunning. When it snowed, we felt like we were inside a snow globe! We loved loved loved our cabin, and also really enjoyed the jacuzzi. We had delicious breakfasts and dinners at the restaurant, the reindeer stew was 10/10! The staff was so friendly and helpful, we got to play with the husky from one of the girls working at the restaurant and it was super nice. We went kayaking with Tim, we went snowshoeing in the Ånderdalen National Park, we went sledding with Senja Husky - we did lots of very nice activities. What a wonderful , unforgettable trip! Thank you Hege, Tim and the Norwegian Wild crew for making it even more special!

The kitchen was well equipped and the house was very organised in general. The beds were comfy and warm. The shared rooms were furnished very nicely and invited to rest after a strenuous hike. We stayed at the Reisa Lodge as a Family of five during summertime. We had a lovely time with a very friendly host and long everlasting evenings. The appartement had an amazing view on to the river and was spacious enough for us. If you look for a quiet and beautiful landscape without lots of tourists, you will definitly find it at the Reisa Lodge. Definitly worth a stay, we will be back!
Great ambience as it was away from city hustle and living in Red wooden Norwegian style lodge was great experience. You need to have your vehicle if you plan to travel into the main part of city often which you need though, convenience. Unless you use the local bus which is nearby. Tromso Lodge has some great breakfast options so make sure you dont miss it. The Lodge itself is self equipped with Gas, utensils, plates etc. so in case you want to cook and enjoy its all there.
Finsnes Gaard is located in a nice wooden house at the sea. Everything is tidy and new. We booked the „Double Room with Shared Bathroom“ which was at this time labeled with mountain view, however it was actually in the basement without any view (which should be mentioned by now). After some slightly awkward conversions we were changed to a room on the 1st Floor with a lovely view.
We absolutely loved our stay at Reisa lodge! It is nestled in a beautiful valley in a remote part of Northern Norway, on the edge of a national park. We loved being totally surrounded by nature. The lodge is very comfortable and well maintained. Plus a hot tub on the roof! The restaurant wasn't open when we were there because there weren't enough people, but we actually loved being able to cook for ourselves. Overall it was a really unique and amazing stay. Huge thank you to Roar for making us feel so welcomed!
Beautiful location and the panoramic lodge was perfect. Warm welcome from all the staff - really friendly and helpful.
The views were absolutely amazing. The lodges were perfect and well equipped. Easy check in. Great value for money, so quiet. I cant stress enough how perfect the view from the window is. Snowy mountains in the daytime and northern lights at night. Literally couldn't ask for more. I didn't want to leave!
We loved staying here we had such a good trip. It’s a lovely hotel food is nice and staff helpful. It’s close to the airport and meeting points for trips. We loved Tromso and we were lucky to see northern lights in all their glory in November - we wouldn’t recommend whale watching tour. Loved the reindeer safari and northern lights trip and Tromso is amazing
amazing location, beautiful lodges, they opened the restaurant just for us and we had a beautiful meal. The staff were so welcoming!
