We chose this lodge because of its convenient location on the route from the Atlantic coast to Etosha. Along the way, we also had time to visit Spitzkoppe. Even before our arrival, I could tell we were in for a special experience: the owner was in touch with us regularly, asking in advance about the group’s meal preferences and helping coordinate our arrival.
The property is a truly beautiful oasis, almost like a botanical garden. It features not only a pool and charming bungalows, but also a unique lounge with a balcony overlooking a waterhole, where you can watch wildlife up close. The lodge sits in a beautiful valley, completely secluded and private. The rooms were private and well apointed. The food was excellent and served outside which was wonderful. The pool was lovely and the crazy golf super hard! We took a sundowner and saw springbok and zebra. The second day we rode horses up to the waterfall (dry at that time of year) which was a morning to remember. This hotel was one of the highlights of our holiday in Namibia. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The lodge boasts a wonderful location on the outskirts of Swakopmund, yet it's very close to restaurants. The views over the dunes and desert are magnificent. The staff are friendly, and the accommodations are luxurious and stylish. Everything is very clean, and the garden is beautiful. The breakfast was very good. We highly recommend this lodge.
We loved everything. The lodge was spacious, beautifully decorated with a homely feeling. The owner was super nice and friendly. We really enjoyed chatting with her and learning about the background of the place and surroundings. The staff was super nice and helpful, too! The breakfast and dinner were high quality and professionally prepared. We saw a rhino from our room coming to drink at night. We also saw porcupines in the dining area. The whole place was very clean and had a very good atmosphere.
At the end of our trip, we had some wonderful days at the exceptionally beautifully situated lodge. It is attractively designed and well maintained with a main house and smaller thatched-roof houses, each with 2 accommodation units. Very good breakfast and dinner. We did not take advantage of any of the activities on offer. We were able to regularly observe grazing warthogs, ground squirrels, Damara dikdiks and rock hyraxes.
Exceptional value for money with a great service at a fraction of the price of many other lodges. Nicely designed and comfortable rooms and nice pool. Beautiful location amongst the rocks. The activity options were extensive and the guides great. We really loved our sundowner walk with Ronny, as well as the morning Ai Aiba walk with another guide whose name I’ve unfortunately forgotten. It was great to do the walking activities which were a change of perspective from the game drives we’ve done in other places.
I think this is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels/lodges I have ever been to! What a great service! The hostess is the kindest and most professional I have ever seen (she even managed to arrange some vegan food!!). The food she and her staff prepared was beyond amazing. Everything is done with impressive attention to detail - the room decor, the pool, just wow! The views are unbeatable, perfect for a romantic getaway! I will recommend this magical place to everyone I know!
The location was ideal. Walking distance from the center of town and restaurants. Breakfast choices were very good and special accommodations were made for me because I don’t eat meat. The staff courteous and helpful. I needed someone with knowledge of lodges in another area and Inga put me into contact with the perfect person. One evening on our way out to dinner, the security guard told my friend that she should not carry her backpack because of the potential dangers. Now that’s thoughtful. Thank you.
The staff and atmosphere was exceptional. I have little comparison as I usually stay in less fancy places, but I think it's pretty good value for money (I find it hard to imagine what else there would be offered at lodges charging double or more of this)
