Everything in our stay was perfect. The location of Kandalama lodge is great if you want to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Sigirya and Pidurangala. The lodge is cleverly designed, and well maintained. The garden is a quiet oasis, peaceful and beautiful. We stayed in both the deluxe villa with the private pool and the “regular” rooms. We enjoyed both. The staff made our stay even better. I’ve never seen a manager, cook and helpers so attentive in my life. I rarely rate a stay a 10/10 but they deserve it.

A car rental service is available at the lodge. We absolutely loved our stay at rock shade chalet!! The rooms were very comfortable and bright. The staff were absolutely exceptional - they were so attentive and polite. It was my boyfriend’s birthday during our stay and they surprised us with a cake! They grow a lot of their own food that they use in their restaurant so it’s all fresh produce. Excellent all round

The location was perfect. Peaceful place near to jungle. Nice garden, sounds of nature, view on lion rocks. Really nice breakfasts.

This is like a five-star hotel quality stay! I am travelling around Sri Lanka and this lodge, is the best decision I made! I stay at the double room that is on the second floor. The host welcome me when I arrive and take my life-threatening heavy luggage upstairs. And after I enter the room, I am like,”wooooooooow”. It’s a five star hotel, honestly. The big toilet and bathroom, clean and tidy with everything you needed. The TERRACE! Its fire!!! I could’ve shoot a music video here. All the plants are so well planted and design. That chill afternoon of me sitting in the terrace is going to be imprinted in my memory for as long as possible. I can tell by other guests face as well, when they are sitting on the swing beds in front of their rooms, they are having the best moments. I am fully refresh after a long journey around the island and sigiriya has made it to the list of my most favourite place. The breakfast is amazing !!! The host, he is an angel. He just looks like he had been trained in like top class hotel with all his service and manners. I loved it so much with the breakfast call, the arrangement and introduction for all the amazing activity around sigiriya. I went around the town with the tuktuk the host booked and the driver is friendly af! Showing me all those monkeys explaining the culture in sigiriya before I get to the rock. NO MOSQUITOS AT ALL.

Situated 3.5 km from Sigiriya Rock, Nimsara Lodge Sigiriya features accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. I stayed here around five years ago, and the place is still maintained beautifully with the same level of cleanliness. Highly recommend staying here. Even without AC, you don’t feel hot because of the trees surrounding the property. Plus, the served fish curry is absolutely awesome!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The owner was incredibly helpful and advised us well on how make the most of our time in beautiful Sigiriya. He happily drove us wherever we needed to go in his tuk tuk which is a real advantage. While there are some parts of the hotel still being built, the rooms are very clean, cozy, and tastefully furnished. The location is within 200 meters walking distance to several restaurants, etc. and the Lion Rock park is only ~5 minutes away

A patio with mountain views is offered in all units. Honestly can't recommend Sigiriya Lake Paradise enough! Stayed here for 5 nights and it felt like home. The location is stunning literally on a lake with a view of Lion's Rock. Chami and the family are super friendly and helpful, they even came with me on some day trips and made sure I was sorted with everything. And the food Absolutely delicious.If you're heading to Sigiriya, definitely book in here. You won't regret it.
