The lodge offers an American or Asian breakfast. The owners went out of their way to make me feel at home immediately. Their attention to detail and communication was excellent. The space heater and drinking water were a nice touch. Loved the view, the classy cabin vibes, the location- right across from the lake! The breakfast was seriously the best I've had in my entire time in Sri Lanka! Nothing but love for this spot and this family. BOHOMA STUTHI!!!

The house‘s location is a 10/10, less than a 15 min drive from the Adam‘s Peak start and is surrounded by a great landscape, especially in comparison to Dalhousie (where the hike starts), so it‘s really worth the short ride.

On point with food tips. Anything we asked he would do!! He gave us tea when we got there and provided more blankets and offered us jerseys! There is a really cute treehouse outside bit that we didn’t realise we had!! The place was very artisanal and full of surprises!! Breakfast was not included but only 700 rupees person but worth every penny as the food was local, homemade and extensive!!! He was able to organise transport from the train for 5 of us and very very reasonable price. We enjoyed entering the room after a whole day of sightseeing. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty, although the selection could be larger. Frank was a godsend when our car broke down. Without him, we wouldn't have been able to arrange a mechanic. He ordered tuk-tuks for us and stayed to organize technical help. We highly recommend this place!
