The campsite is good and the kind owner gave us a room upgrade as soon as we arrived and we could sleep in the "tent". The room was very clean and spacious and the view was truly amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the beauty of the desert and the warmth of the staff who made us feel truly special. The camp itself is beautifully situated, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Our tent was spacious and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after days filled with adventure. We loved sipping tea on our private terrace while watching the sun set over the dunes—absolutely magical! The food was another highlight. Each meal was delicious, featuring authentic Bedouin dishes that delighted our taste buds. Sharing dinner under the stars, surrounded by the serene desert, created an unforgettable atmosphere. We also enjoyed thrilling activities like a jeep tour and a scenic camel ride. Exploring the breathtaking landscapes together brought us even closer, and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, enhancing our experience. Roos Night Camp truly offers an enchanting escape in the heart of the desert, and we left with beautiful memories and a desire to return. Jedo our host was very friendly and professional he made us feel right at home, can’t wait to visit again soon in the future. The room was clean and very comfortable and the food was delicious.

Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Location is good but not excellent,lots of light around it’s impossible to take pictures of Milky Way. Not so clean but with this price, you can’t ask more. The host provides free pickup and drop off services from tourist centers and 1918 train stations.

Guests can admire Wadi Rum’s rock formations and desert from a hot air balloon. Other activities offered are buggy safaris, camel riding, and land sailing. The camp staff is AMAZING. Osama was the most supportive, he called to schedule and facilitate our arrival to the camp and upgraded our room free of charge. He coordinated a mix of day trip and amazing stargazing night in the desert away from the light pollution (recomeneded trip). The food (breakfast and dinner) was very good with available chicken Zarb, meat Zarb, and vigiterian options. The camp is family friendly and the location is accessible by small cars with safe car parking. The pool in the middle of the desert is a plus, especially during morning and after noon hours. In the last day, I asked about the checkout time, they replied by offering flexible late checkout along with the option of having another room to rest till the end of the day! Camp Ali team is very generous and welcoming. They reflected the Jordanian heritage and culture.

Breakfast is available, and includes buffet, à la carte and continental options. At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving African, American and Argentinian cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. Sleeping in the bubble room is like sleeping on Mars… The rooms are clean… The food is delicious… The bed is big and comfortable… The staff is nice.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy billiards on site, or cycling in the surroundings. The tent felt like a charming little escape—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up. One of my favorite spots was the swimming pool. After a long day of exploring, it was the perfect place to relax and cool off. Breakfast was lovely—a great start to the day with fresh, simple, and delicious options. But dinner…oh, dinner was the real showstopper! They served zarb, a traditional Jordanian dish cooked underground, and wow—it was a feast. The flavors were rich and unforgettable, and the staff took the time to explain the whole cooking process, which made it even more special. Dining under the stars with that amazing zarb? Pure magic.
