The morning views and sunrise were absolutely breathtaking and we saw it every morning. We also felt at home from the minute we arrived. The people there are super friendly and listen to all your questions and needs. You can do many activities in the area with aranka or rent bikes or scooters and ride around on your own. We appreciated the daily fruits, snacks and teas which are provided a lot and are thankful that we got to know new dishes and specialities. We also got a little chess lesson from Gilang and Azmi, who were also super friendly and chilled. The next tournament is still to come ;-) We were able to have super open conversations with all of them and learn a lot about the culture and life on Lombok. Also they try to connect themselves and other guests with each other with hosting a fire and playing the guitar for example. We would come back every time!

The rooms are very clean and new. The bed was great, and the shower had good pressure and hot water. No AC needed, since Tetebatu is higher, so it is cooler. Hari (the owner) and Angi speak perfectly English, and even a bit of Spanish and Dutch! Everyone here is very welcoming, and all the 3 nights we stayed here, we played some cardgames in the evening with multiple members of the family. We did the walking tour with Eman and Jay, which was great! The surroundings are very beautiful. Also one night there was a open English course at Hari’s home, which is there twice a week to support the local community. You can help out if you want to, which we really liked. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we were sad we had to leave so soon already, but next time when we are in Indonesia we will definitely be back. Hati hati!
