The lodge offers a continental or American breakfast. The staff and owner are making you feel welcome and at home directly. They put so much love in this project and in hosting you and you can feel and see it in all the details. The vegan food is the best food we've had so far on our trip in Colombia. The views are breathtaking. The location is in the middle of the jungle with a natural swimming pool with the river. The cacao and fruit tour is super interesting (highly recommend!). I can just recommend to stay here, we really loved it. Thanks again for everything. Highlight of our trip so far!

An à la carte breakfast is available at the lodge. At Finca Barlovento Cabaña, Tayrona you will find a restaurant serving American, Cajun Creole and Caribbean cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. We stayed in the cabaña overlooking the ocean with no walls/window and it was an amazing experience. The bed is comfortable and it was just lovely listening to the waves and waking up watching the ocean. We stayed for one night only and I would have wished we stayed for at least two. Although if I stayed longer than that I would probably chose and more conventional hotel room. The area is absolutely beautiful and we saw lots of birds, iguanas and a cayman from the grass terrace. The pool is also lovely.

Shout-out to Kata and Mario for looking after our every need (Mario should probably open a cocktail / juice bar), and the kitchen staff for amazing meals. There's amazing snorkeling at your doorstep with a reef home to coral and fish of every color, shape and size. We had some of the best sleeps of our lives listening to the waves crash on the shore.

You can see the dedication of the owner on every detail. It has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. Premium mattress and linens, hot water, tasteful decorations and lots of small details. Yuca restaurant is a few steps away and we enjoyed great breakfast and dinners. Tayrona Park is 10 minutes walking distance.

Simón Bolívar International Airport is 44 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The staff were phenomenal. They were so kind and helpful. We dealt mostly with David and Alejo, both of whom spoke really good English, and they were very genuine, interested, and nice. The other staff were also great and were happy to try to chat with us in our broken Spanish. The food was really tasty. The ingredients felt high quality and the cooks were really good. The camarones con salsa de coco y ajo was especially good. The cabins were really cool. It felt like we were staying in a treehouse, with plenty of monkeys and birds at eye-level while we lounged in the hammocks. The bed was comfortable and everything was kept really clean by the staff.
