Jerome is a very attentive and friendly host, he organized transfer for us from the airport and back, recommended a very good local guide for excursion around the National Park and meeting the highlights. We also rented a car at Kona Koa and fully satisfied by this experience, everything was organized easy and conveniently. The house is surrounded by lovely blossoming garden, it’s clean and cozy and fully equipped with necessary household appliances and utensils. Highly recommend the place for those, who going to discover the Island!

Tahai's archeologic ceremonial center is a 5-minute walk away and the downtown is just a 10-minute walk. Vickie and Marcelo are wonderful people. Vickie collected me at the airport...and Marcelo took me back there when I left. The cabin is beautifully rustic, spacious with great character. The wifi was excellent and the location is close to Tahai beach with its impressive moai statues. It's an easy walk to cafes and Pea beach where you can swim and watch numerous sea turtles which come in close to feed. An unforgettable experience. Do visit the close-by cemetery....it's the most beautiful and characterful I've ever seen and a must-see though respectfully of course.

Included pickup and drop off to the airport, helped us arrange all our tours, sent information about the trip ahead of time. Location was excellent, right off the Main Street and the beach/banks/car rentals. The cabins were clean, comfortable and included everything for a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the lodge. it’s in a garden near the airport ( but only 3-4 flights a week) and a 15-20 minute walk downtown the folks that run it are sweethearts they have rental cars so you don’t even have to leave the property for that…. and their jeeps are as cheap or cheaper than the places in town….
