Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I had the pleasure of staying at the Prom Coast Holiday Lodge in Waratah Bay for one night from June 17th to June 18th, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Arrival and Check-in Despite arriving quite late at around 9 PM, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The staff had left clear instructions for late arrivals, which was very thoughtful and made me feel welcomed right away. Accommodation The lodge itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The attention to detail in the decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The room was spacious, with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of travel. Facilities The lodge boasts excellent facilities. The fully equipped kitchen allowed for easy meal preparation, and the living area was perfect for relaxing. I also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi, which was reliable and fast, making it easy to stay connected. Surroundings The location is stunning, nestled in the serene environment of Waratah Bay. Waking up to the tranquil surroundings and the sound of nature was truly refreshing. Although I only stayed for one night, I could see how this place would be perfect for longer stays, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Overall Experience Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay at the Prom Coast Holiday Lodge. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and beautiful surroundings made for an unforgettable experience. An oven, a microwave and stovetop are also provided, as well as a kettle. Wonderful view of sunrise. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Furnished with quality appliances. Very friendly staff. Great communication - polite and responsive.

The bush setting is beautiful and the variety of birds that visit is amazing - waking to the sounds of bird song. The breakfast provided is generous and tasty. The decoration of the cottage is creative and thoughtful. The wood fire provides wonderful warmth throughout the whole cottage on a chilly night.

We loved the ensuite to the room, thankfully we were given that especially cos i was travelling with 2 kids under 6. The co-living space, kitchen and living area was clean and self-sufficient, we also met other travellers that we so friendly. Richard was also so helpful to help me with the luggage as he saw me with 2 young ones!

Prom Country Lodge is a 10-minute walk from Foster Museum. All rooms have a TV and views of the surrounding bushland.

Prom Country Lodge is a 5-minute walk from the town centre, and a 20-minute drive from Agnes Falls Scenic Lookout. Wilsons Promontory National Park, located on the southernmost tip of mainland Australia, is a 20-minute drive away. Had a lovely stay. Great facilities in the room and nice to have a restaurant on site.

Comfy bed with heated mattress too. Nice and quiet at night, could only hear the patter of the possums on the roof every now and again!
