The staff here are fantastic - very friendly, welcoming and warm. They go the extra mile and seem genuinely happy. Special thank you to Petrus and the front of house team for being so kind. The lodge has charm, good vibes and seemed much more authentic compared some other lodges we stayed at. The location is incredibly peaceful and quiet. We saw giraffe, warthog, impala, kudu, waterbuck, mongoose, ostrich - either by sitting at the new waterhole viewing platform with a drink at sunset, or by going for a little walk . We stayed in winter, but our room had a heat pump plus a woodburner which was lit by the staff every night. Super cosy. Perfect spot to get a first taste of Namibia, recover and recharge after a long flight. We felt very at home.

We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway spot. The price was just right, and the scenery absolutely breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, the hostess miss Magdelena made us feel so welcome with her warmth and helpfulness.
