We loved our stay at Japan Snowsports. The hosts and staff were all amazing and helpful. The location was perfect and the complementary shuttles were very helpful. We would definitely recommend this place and we will be back!

Staying at White Tree Lodge felt like visiting family Hayden and Saki are great hosts who do everything to help and make your stay enjoyable, room and lodge facilities comfortable, great location close to ski lifts and other restaurants in the village, and the home cooked Japanese food in the white tree restaurant was delicious with a great variety on menu. I have been skiing in Japan for 15 years and white tree is a definite standout and would highly recommended

Even so I stayed only one night, I felt felt really welcomed from the first step in the Hotel. The owner was very friendly and warm. They cooked a very good dinner for me. After a perfect and silent night in the very cozy bed. I enjoyed a great breakfast before I was driven by car to the bus station by the owner. I can absolutely recommend this place.

The rooms are impeccably clean, well-appointed, and designed with thoughtful details that enhance the overall experience. The cozy fireplaces, plush bedding, and large windows showcasing the natural beauty outside truly made our stay unforgettable. One of the standout features of Alp Bach Madarao is the incredible dining experience. The meals were nothing short of spectacular, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared to perfection. Each dish was a delightful blend of traditional Japanese flavors and international influences, making every bite a memorable moment. The staff deserves special mention for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless, offering personalized recommendations, arranging activities, and always greeting us with genuine smiles. Their passion for what they do is evident and adds a special touch to the experience. Whether you’re an avid skier, a nature lover, or simply looking for a tranquil escape, Alp Bach Madarao has something for everyone. It’s the kind of place that leaves you already planning your return as you reluctantly say goodbye.

Breakfast was great, lots of choice and even had a cooked hot breakfast. Staff went out of their way with their service.

Thoroughly enjoyed our family stay at the Madarao Mountain Lodge. Used it as a very convenient base for 3 nights to ski the Madarao, Nozawa and Myoko resorts. Good atmosphere / good dining / good pricing and good location. Proximity to the slope is a brisk 1 minute walk. Highly recommend and will be back!

Jono and the Team are amazing hosts, super helpful. Really cozy lodge with fire ,beer, wine, cocktails and good company. Just a short stroll to the skifield via Aki bar and pizza.

The staff was very welcoming, and the onsen was quite large. Room was very good.
