This hotel was stylish, comfortable and had an exceptional view of the city. We absolutely loved the rooftop bar and pool which was spectacular at night. The location was very convenient too. This was the best hotel out of the 5 we stayed in throughout our trip.

5 star by all means. Delicious restaurant, elegant breakfast with tasty dishes and coffee, swimming pool with a city view and one of the best rooftop bars we've been to in HCMC (and we visited quite a lot of them :)) We had a pleasure to stay in La Siesta on Halloween and the hotel organized amazing party! Staff was outstanding; after couple of days we felt like friends, meanwhile everyone was still super professional and dedicated. Cosy, comfortable SPA. All services with a very good quality-price ratio. Perfect location, near to the city center, yet in the not too busy street.

Definitely a must visit, despite some very graphic exhibits of the sad and horrible things that happen in a war. But many inspiring exhibits too, telling stories of courage and resilience in awful circumstances. Very interesting hearing the North Vietnamese side of the story,of the Vietnam war.

There was so much beauty in its ugliness. Very emotional, if not touched you are not human. No winners here, many lives lost, destroyed, scarred forever. Yet they stand proud today, kind, generous, humble and beautiful.

Bearing in mind you can't un see what you've seen, this could be a very upsetting place to visit. It's filled with killing machines and artefacts along with pictures of death and mass destruction, some with children.

Sad, lots of the photos are quiet graphic and very confronting. Found it interesting and if you enjoy history and want a cultural experience definitely visit. If going with younger children avoid Level 2 and 3 exhibitions as graphic photos. The helicopters and b52 planes from the war are down stairs outside and they enjoyed that. Lost of younger kids. My teenager found it very interesting but also confronting.

An absolute must.

An absolute must. Try to visit here before doing the Tunnels tour. Stuff we didn't know about in Australia. A real eye opener on a shocking time in our history and particularly the history of the US

Mostly photos.

Mostly photos. Of course it only shows the point of view of the Northern Communists- but I think it is good to review the point of view of each involved party. For the point of view of the southerners in this war, head to Texas or California and visit the Vietnamese refugee expatriates.

The location of the hotel is good, within walking distance of the Independence Palace, the War Remnants Museum and the main stop for the hop-on / hop-off bus tour of Saigon. The staff were helpful and the rooms were spotlessly clean. It is a little odd to eat breakfast in the reception area, though, although there was a reasonable selection and freshly-cooked eggs on offer too.

The hotel is in a pretty central location and walking distance to the Cafe Apartments, War Remnants Museum and many other must do’s in Ho Chi Minh. The rooms themself are small but quite cosy. The staff that serve the breakfast are super kind and very hospitable.
