I loved the place, the price-quality ratio was excellent. The place was very clean and smelled very good. The food is very good, it is not necessary to go out to eat at restaurants. You can rent a motorcycle at a good price here, and within a few minutes there are many places to visit. They helped us with all our questions and any difficulties. They had a beautiful and very affectionate dog.

The family run business is in such a lovely place surrounded by high stones , food was great , free bicycle to go around . We loved the swimming pool, free pool table for the teenage kids to play and the nature that surrounds the homestay . We were stuck due to typoon kajiki but loved our relaxed stay at Trang An with the family .

Its actually quite nice to walk around early in the morning...

Its actually quite nice to walk around early in the morning before the other tourists arrive, but in reality it is a couple of quite nice by nothing special temples in the main complex, a nothing special temple out in a very scenic valley bewteen karst towers, and a totally uninspiring temple up quite a climb up some steep steps near the top of a hill.

Accept the offer of a motorbike tour at the gate to see it all, otherwise you’ll never find all the locations. Trust the locals. They are trying to make a living sure - as we all are. But you gotta trust that apart from the odd taxi driver, in Vietnam most people ARE NOT trying to rip you off. Yes people offering directions are doing just that like you would at home. And do give some money to the lady monks who hold out their hands when you visit. It is how they survive. Don’t be cheap and mean please! I witnessed some bad white people behaviour here and in Tam Coc and Hoi An. Try not to be an asshole!
