The hotel is nice and clean. But the most important is the staff attitude and support. I felt always supported.

Location is perfect. Staff is incredible. Kim's hospitality is impressive and she is super helpful. The breakfast is nice. Beef Pho is wonderful and better than some restaurants on the street. Surely will be back at the next visit to Hanoi.

You won’t regret staying in this hotel! We were positively surprised with how clean the hotel room was, how good the location is and how we got everything for such a good price. I cannot say enough about the staff, they helped us with every struggle we had! First they upgraded our room, then they helped us when we were worried about our tour agency scamming us, offering to call them and stood beside us and the last & most previous thing they did for us was letting us shower in the hotel at 9pm, 10 hours later from checking out of our room. Thank you Amorita Boutique Hotel again! For such a lovely stay in Hanoi!

The shining hotel is in a perfect location. If you haven’t been to Hanoi before and want to get a feel for the local culture, it is very close to little cafes and restaurants where you can eat or drink coffees like the locals. It is also near the lake and water puppet show and from the hotel you can easily go to other places in the city that you might want to see. The people at the hotel were all very smiley, nice and helpful, whether that is giving us a water proof jacket because they were worried about us getting wet or helping us organise our other trips in Vietnam. Hong, the travel agent, was absolutely fabulous. She communicated with me a lot before the trip and helped organise airport transfer, a trip to halong bay and even helped us organise a pickup from the station after the trip I had planned to sapa before knowing that they would help. It helped the trip run smoothly and made us really safe and comfortable. I would definitely recommend asking the hotel for any support during the trip as they are always there to help. The rooms are lovely and clean and nicely decorated. It was my partners birthday so they even left us a beautiful decoration which was a lovely surprise. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is an elegant building to see in passing but not worth...

This is an elegant building to see in passing but not worth making a special journey to unless you intend watching a performance there. There are equally elegant if smaller buildings especially in the French Quarter to see of all ages and degrees of shabbiness. Remember when walking around the old quarter of Hanoi to look up as you are avoiding getting run over, to see the real Hanoi above the street level and marvel at the styles, building hot-potch and evidence of former if unregulated buildings and wonder how they manage to stay up.
