    It wasn’t somewhere we were looking forward to but had been...

    It wasn’t somewhere we were looking forward to but had been told we MUST visit. It was amazing. Plymouth Patuxet has a recreation of the Wampanoag tribe’s dome house which is fully explained by staff who will answer questions you may have about the building. There is also a replica of the original English 17th Century settlement. You can interact with the actors who are dressed and speak as if they were from the early 1600. They are happy to chat and will answer any questions you have about life there at that time but will not engage in conversations about anything more modern that about 1626.

    Very disappointed in that there were far fewer interpreters than years past. There are some interpreters but there are also non-costumed guides. A local library pass is best since it offers a substantial discount to Plimoth Plantation and 2 other sites.

    Plymouth Plantation was great, as authentic as I think you...

    Plymouth Plantation was great, as authentic as I think you get get to the period of time as if you were actually living back when the Pilgrims came, A great history lesson and lots of fun, reminds us of how many comforts we have today compared to the everyday life they lived and how hard it must have been.Be sure to try some of food from that period in time that they prepared and ate, everything was great.
