The room was very spacious, elegantly decorated, high-end amenities, a perfect bathroom. The breakfast was one of the best I've experienced in the entire East Asia in 5-6 years of trips to the region. High-quality, fresh ingredients, very well-made dishes and a great versatility of offerings. The check-in/check-out was very smooth and friendly.

The room was modern. Bathroom was spacious. Lighting and temperature control of the room was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Made me feel at home. Love the tv system with netflix and I could use my spotify, prime etc accounts to listen to music and watch my fave programmes.

    The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The location is very near to the MRT Station and Taichung Park. The Staff is very helpful especially during typhoon time. The staff give advice and conduct the transportation to Sun Moon Lake.

    Faultless location for us. We took the local train from Taipei (NOT the HSR, which stops at a different location) & arrived at Taichung station, just a 15min walk to hotel. From Sparrow, we could get around easily to Second market, Yisheng night market, Taichung Park, Taichung meatball restaurant and Suncake museum. Staff were patient & kind. Rooms were clean, no musty smells. The eating area in the foyer was really user friendly with a microwave & coffee/tea facilities.

    I chose this hotel considering I didn't know hotels in Taichung so better stick with an IHG hotel. Good air con, universal electric plug in the room. Location was just a short Uber trip to Lalaport and Miyahara ice cream. Taichung park is just accross the hotel. Starbucks is in the little (super little) shopping mall within the same building as the hotel. Staffs spoke decent English. Other than these, I will not consider to come back to this hotel.
