A first class hospitality experience. This hotel deserves 5 stars. The room was spacious, very clean, and equipped with all the essentials for comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, various, and delicious. The staff deserves a special mention. Everyone is very polite, always ready to help. I would like to extend my special thanks to Ali and Yassar. They were an amazing and helpful team. They provided exceptional service and showed utmost care for my son's comfort. They were always available to answer my inquiries and fulfill my needs with a smile. I would also like to acknowledge your other staff members who contributed to providing a great experience. I hope you will accept this general appreciation as a token of my gratitude to your entire team. I look forward to visiting your hotel again in the future, and I will highly recommend your amazing hospitality to my friends and family.

I like everything about the hotel. During our arrival, after a very long flight, the operational manager greet us and offer us hot drinks to settle during check in process. The staff and the owner are very helpful. The room is nice cozy and clean. Breakfast is great. The hotel looks modern, clean, smells nice and even the emergency staircase looks so expensive and luxury. The staff are so so nice and very welcoming. My husband lost his iphone near the mall, the hotel staff took initiatives by walking me to the nearest police station, they even help my husband to find the iphone too! The operational manager, Ibrahim, are the most helpful staff there. And staff named Fatih, we cant forget him for being really2 friendly and helpful. The staff really take care of us until we are settled in the car to go to the airport Will definitely come to that hotel again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️It is very close to the historical sites (Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar etc.), 5 minutes walking distance. We were able to go everywhere easily with the tram located 200 meters above the hotel. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was truly incredible. Many thanks to all the staff for their interest.👏👏

    Disappointing.

Disappointing. I think I imagined it to be old world style market with original and locally made items. Basically a giant souvenir mall with the same items sold in every store, and that I suspect come from China. One exception was a rug store hidden away in a basement, called Export & Import (proprietor is Abdullah Balta) -- we bought two rugs. Very pleased with them.

I was last in Istanbul and at the Grand Bazaar 30 years ago, and while I really enjoyed my recent visit to Istanbul - a photogenic, fascinating city - I was disappointed in the Grand Bazaar which was offering the same items as almost every other tourist shopping outlet and street-side shopping stall. Perhaps the prices are lower in the Bazaar to draw the crowds, but I was left feeling that I was seeing ‘more of the same’. The interior architecture of the building is interesting.

Be prepared for "chaos" this was not an enjoyable experience, I felt that I was consistently being "bullied" into a purchase from anywhere I looked. The market is vast so be prepared to find yourself looking for a familiar exit or entrance. I suggest you go with a guide.

Historical & busy bazar but beautiful bazar with lots of variety of accessories & jewelry. I saw people haggling to get discounts. Very hospitable shopkeepers! We were served with differnt delicious teas like apple tea, ginger tea, & pomegranate tea. Along with dry fruits & deserts. I enjoyed shopping there. Great place to visit! Prces were a bit better in Taksim square area. Must try Amazing deserts at Hafiz Mustafa shops.

Great place to visit and make some deals 🤣.

Great place to visit and make some deals 🤣. Do not dress expensive, unless you are buying expensive pieces of gold. Dress modestly, since the sellers look at you and form their prices accordingly. The first price is always too high, you have to bargain. Put a price lower than your final price and meet in the middle. Always apologize in a way that you do not want to offend him, but you respectfully give him you price. You are often invited to the shop to sit and drink tea, do not feel obliged to buy smtg although you drank the tea. Also, they are presenting you the goods (jackets, coats etc), usually you can not go through the staff by yourself. If you are buying gold, mind the clarity. It's usually 14 K (75% gold), while in other Europan countries it's 24K (99,9%), that's the reason why it seems cheaper...

The hostel is really well located, a short walk from the Grand Bazaar and other tourist attractions, metro and tram links plus decent local restaurants. There is also a small supermarket more or less next door. My room was adequate. The furniture was a bit jaded but the bed was clean and comfortable, with a fan provided.

Wasn’t expecting to leave on that side of Istanbul, but we ended up really liking it. The hotel is within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Beyazid Mosque. The Grand Bazaar and metro line are just a 5-minute walk away. We also discovered plenty of local amenities nearby, from street food vendors to traditional goods shops. The hotel staff were especially helpful in arranging day tours, which we thoroughly enjoyed as a couple.

Grand Bazar is just for visiting not for shopping as costs are higher here. The funny thing is that everything is about negotiation in shops or on the streets. You will have a big surprise that the final price you are paying it is with 30% - 50% less. I.e. Turkish yoyo on the street is 5TL but if you offer 2.5 TL you're gone have it :) Good look.

  • The atmosphere.

The atmosphere. You can find most of these things in other places but not in market places with such heady atmosphere as in Istanbul. It is an experience to spend time in Grand Bazaar even if you buy nothing. Shopping areas in India, my country, are equally interesting but they tend to be dirty and full of traps like potholes and overflowing drains. Istanbul has the atmosphere without these problems. The place we liked most was Arasta Bazaar near the Blue Mosque.
