NorwayI stayed at this hotel when I was attending Fredrikstad Animation Festival. To my pleasant surprise it was almost right next to the place!
They also allowed me to store my luggage before check in, very convenient as I arrived to town a few hours before check-in.
Nice variety for breakfast. Nice room and comfortable bed. Very nice bathrooms. Good of the hotel to think of the environment and not switching out towels/sheets everyday if its not needed.

The facilities were outstanding, exceptionally clean as well.
All the staff were fantastic and very helpful, we will definately be back at some point.
It was close too everything and a small walk into the old town.
The Hos Martin staff were brilliant as well, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Nice location in the centre of modern town and only 15 minutes walk to the old town (Gamlebyen). There is a free ferry to take you across the river. We parked our car in the public parking next to the hotel (fee is needed).
Room was modern and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent!

A lovely, simply decorated and furnished room with everything I needed, very much in keeping with the historic hotel building and "Old-Town" Fredrikstad location. Very handy for wandering round the old town and for the free ferry to Isegran and the newer town.
Lovely patio on the property.
Good breakfast buffet in another building just around the corner - awesome furnishings in that room!
Free parking was a bonus.
Friendly, helpful staff : )

Comfortable hotel right in the city centre. All the required facilities are there. There was even a bathtub in the room!
The personnel is very friendly and helpful.
The hotel doesn't have own parking, but Lykkeberget P-Hus is affordable and has an exist right into the hotel.
Special thanks for the book with local sights in the room. Didn't know there is a little Stonehenge nearby.
The location is good: it's a short walk to the waterfront with many restaurants and a free boat that goes to the old town.

Perfect location, friendly staff, OK breakfast (additional cost), good shower, a lovely single room.
The old town, the one-minute free ferry to the Fredrikstad city, the museum, the cobbled streets, walls and moats.

Staff is amazing kind and helpful. The recently renovated rooms are lovely and the position near the waterfront and only a 15 minute walk to the ferry for the old town make it a great choice. However, it is the staff who make the place, they kindly upgraded mum's room so that her shower space was more appropriate and let us leave our car there all day when we had checked out. Very friendly young staff who have given a great impression of the hotel and their city.
