Great location, great view, great food....the best choice

Cozy new hotel with spectacular views. Great staff. Good breakfast, maybe only the coffee could be better :) We had no problems parking nearby. Many cafes/restaurants within walking distance of 5-10 minutes.

The staff were welcoming from the moment we checked in . The room was fab' , everything we needed , an absolutely HUGE bed and so comfortable . A balcony with a view to the outdoor pool and garden and to our left the sea , so relaxing . Staff in breakfast room were lovely , so welcoming . The choice of food was great. We checked in for 5 nights but ended up staying 11 nights. My husband stayed 11 nights because I got very ill and was in hospital for 5 or 6 nights. The reception staff were brilliant and understanding as he had to check out after the 5 nights and check in for 2 nights at a time as he didn't know when I'd get out of hospital . The area is great , lovely restaurants outside the hotel. The pharmacy across the road were very helpful getting my medication and my husband's . The pharmacist went to every length to get my heart medication. Billys Taxis across from the hotel were also very good , Alan and Desmond , Desmond took us to the hospital and came back for my husband at 5am to bring him back to the hotel and on the way back he stopped and bought a cake for my husband . Public transport is excellent and so cheap . Hopefully we'll go back to Malta and will stay in the same hotel. We can't get over the kindness of the people we met . Was well looked after in the hospital , got us through a very bad time. Didn't get to see much of Malta so we really will have to go back to thank people.

The Solana Hotel is hands down THE best hotel in Malta - The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful, in every department. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated with bathrobes, fruits and chocolates. The food in Prickly Pear and Bellini Restaurant was amazing, it tasted great and fresh! Thank you, thank you, thank you Solana <3 Special thanks to Faye, Aleksandra, Shyrr, Ben and Janet from the Front Desk, Sandip from Housekeeping and Mariana from Bellini - You made our stay perfect! We will definitely return!!
