Once we left the crowded Colombo we arrived to this magical and relaxing place, surrounded by nature and a few minutes away from Polonnaruwa. The place, the room, the bath, the hospitality and the GREAT host that we had really made our visit worth it. I would recommend this place to everyone! The host was so incredibly hospitable and sweet. She helped us with the elephant trip, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast and was just all around incredibly accommodating. She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.

I got to spend a day at green garden homestay with very good care. I am very happy about it. The food and room facilities were very good. I got to experience a very free environment specially with a canal. Nilu worked very closely with us. I am thankful for that. The jeep safari was also very good. I also liked the boat safari very much. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. A very good, loving and strong woman. I recommend everyone to come and enjoy your free time.
