I recently had the pleasure of staying at Anansaya La Maison in Siem Reap, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The hotel staff, including David, Daro, Stephen, Marie, Long, Mr. Sophat, Mr. Rorth, and the Angkor Wat tour guide Mr. Nat, truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their exceptional service and warm hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our entire visit. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a heartfelt welcome. David, the hotel owner, personally greeted us and wished us a pleasant stay, as well as checking in throughout our stay. The attentive and friendly staff members, especially Daro, Stephen, Marie, and Long, were always on hand to assist us with any request we had. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or arranging transportation, they were knowledgeable, approachable, and dedicated to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. Their friendliness and willingness to go the extra mile truly made us feel like valued guests. Mr. Sophat and Mr. Rorth (as well as many other drivers who we did not get the names of!) who are the hotel's dedicated Tuk Tuk drivers, were instrumental in helping us navigate Siem Reap. The whole driving team, including Mr Bin, the airport transfer driver, were so safe, welcoming and friendly. Their expertise and enthusiasm were evident as they shared insightful tips and recommendations, making our experiences truly memorable. We so appreciated the cold towels and coconuts One of the highlights of our stay was the Angkor Wat tour guided by Mr. Nat, whom we had the pleasure of booking through the hotel. Mr. Nat's deep knowledge of the temple complex, combined with his passion for sharing its history and cultural significance, made the tour an enriching and unforgettable experience.

Very good stay, excellent service from the first minute. Welcome drink and fruit plate, room upgrade, personal introduction to the hotel and it's spirit (which is based on charitable projects that get supported with the profit of the hotel as a business and establishing a community). beds were very comfy and the free waffles and tea in the afternoon were tasty. Hotel has an attractive spot between the city and Angkor temples. Pool was just great to relax in. We also had dinner one night and really liked it. Staff is extraordinary and helpful in every situation. don't hesitate to ask your questions and use the support of the community of the people behind this hotel to make your stay unforgettable and flawless.

The hotel is very clean, the washroom is well equipped and there is hot water with good pressure. The pool was clean too. The hotel restaurant has good choices for the usual "tourist price", there are 4 options for breakfast. The staff is super helpful and can arrange anything from a massage to a tour with relatively low profit compared to ordering straight from the providers. The receptionists were super helpful with any issues and questions. All is well documented and organised, you will always get a receipt. Amazing value for the price. If we ever come to Cambodia again, we will consider coming back.

I gave a perfect score for every aspect. This hotel is positioned as a three-star establishment, but I sincerely believe it surpasses the conventional three-star standards by far. Firstly, the hotel's decor is very unique, especially for foreigners, as it exudes the Cambodian atmosphere. The location of the hotel isn't in the center of Siem Reap city, but it's closer to Angkor Wat, which makes it very convenient for morning departures and afternoon returns without having to traverse bustling streets. There are also inexpensive dining options in the vicinity. The hotel's in-house restaurant left us astonished with its culinary skills. We also tried Chanrey Tree, and we unanimously felt that the hotel's restaurant was even better and reasonably priced. The rooms are spacious, bright, and clean. The front desk service is top-notch. They even prepared takeout breakfast for us when we went to see the sunrise. When we arrived in Siem Reap, we initially rented a car to explore remote areas for three days before returning to Siem Reap. We didn't use the hotel's free airport transfer service (unclear if it's still free after the new airport was opened, which is quite far from the old one). The hotel generously agreed to provide us with a free drop-off to the airport. At every turn, you can feel the hotel's dedication to service. I must emphasize again that this hotel truly exceeds the standards of a typical three-star hotel. We had a wonderful time in Siem Reap, and I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.
