Located in a quiet area with subway station, park, Tokyo Tower and several convenience stores and restaurants in walking distance. Staff are very polite and nice. Rooms are routinely only cleaned every 3rd day which is enough and more sustainable. Room was decently sized for Japan and equipped with all necessities like bath tub, modern toilet, steamer, water boiler and slippers. Had in-house coin laundry.

I absolutely loved my stay at the 1899 Hotel in Tokyo—this was my third time staying here, and it continues to impress me every visit. The service is exceptional, with the staff making sure you feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel itself is extremely modern, with a minimalist and aesthetically pleasing design that creates such a calming and sophisticated atmosphere. One of my favorite touches is the complimentary tea service during check-in. You can enjoy a delicious matcha accompanied by wagashi (Japanese sweets) to start your stay on the perfect note—it’s such a thoughtful and unique experience. During my stay, I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which offered decent options and added to the overall value of the stay. Another highlight was the green tea-scented amenities, including shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion. Not only did they smell amazing, but they’re also available for purchase at the hotel—a great way to bring a piece of the experience home with you. The location is also very convenient. While “central” in Tokyo is relative, it’s well connected by public transport, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, 1899 Hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Tokyo, blending modern design, thoughtful service, and little luxuries that make it stand out. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be back again!

odaiba is one of the best places to visit in Tokyo, with lots to see and do for free. Lots of seating, viewing spots and eateries. There's a small beach, promenades and lots of beautiful spots to watch the sunset for free! The harbour has lots of boats lit up and it looks amazing. Find a restarant to watch it all.

It's next to Yurikamone line Daiba Station next to Aqua City. Easy to walk to Deck (Joypolis) Diver City (Gundam Sculpture) the promenade area, replica of Statue of Liberty, for fantastic views of Rainbow bridge and Tokyo Tower in the distance. Oh LAWSON with many souvenirs at hotel too I like the chapel- wedding hall. Beautiful

The foot of the Tokyo Tower, the foot of the Tokyo Skytree (as well as inside the Skytree for aerial view shots), Daiba pier (great view of Tokyo Tower, Rainbow Bridge and miniature replica of Statue of Liberty), Mori Tower observation deck (aerial view of city and Tokyo Tower), Imperial Palace Gardens (free public entry), Senso-Ji Temple and Kaminarimon Gate in Asakusa, Shibuya's main crossing (looks like Times Square NYC), Omote-sando (big street with nice trees and luxury shops like Gucci and Louis Vuitton)
