The staff are very kind and friendly. The hotel is clean and I liked the Japanese-style interior. It was a little far from Nippori Station (8 minutes) but it was easy to get to Narita Airport using the Skyliner at Nippori Station.

Fantastic location in a quiet neighborhood, but 3 minutes walk from major train/metro network. Good to be by Ueno station for direct line from Narita airport or Shinkansen north/south. Professional and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed (best sleep in 4 months after SE Asia travel) and clean room, small closet area and a refrigerator for 7-eleven drinks/snacks, just the right size for 2 people. Self-laundry was very convenient with washing machine that has built-in laundry detergent, makes it so simple. Outside lounge space was lovely. Felt like we could relax and feel at home.

The room I reserved was very spacious and came with a well equipped kitchen and 2 different areas to sit/eat which was great for a longer stay. It is rare to find that much space in Tokyo at an affordable price. Everything was perfect and I really enjoyed discovering the little local restaurants and cafe nearby.

the location of Oku hotel will be prefect for us, it just take one stop from Ueno station. and it takes two stop from tokyo station. the location is convenience to go everywhere and it is not crowd. Oku station is a residential area and it is quiet after 8:00 p.m.. there is a supermarket nearby Oku hotel takes 5 mins walk and you can buy fruits there.

The room was clean and they took daily the garbage and made the bed ( you can decide if you want a daily change of bed sheets or not ! ) The hotel is in a perfect spot, close to Ryogoku station ( 2 min walk) , close to Akihabara! The roof terrace is great. Perfect place for our first stop in Japan. We would book again
