We feel so welcome. The super kind lady gave us interesting tips about things to do. She arranged e.g. a rental car, and local restaurants for us. The beds are of good size for us (we are a tall family). Great view to the port and sea. Breakfast excellent.

It was walkable from Motomachi Port. I stayed at the dorm style room, so I had to share with other people, but they all were respectful ladies, and I had no problem. The room was new and sparking clean. The fridge, kitchen, and coffee marker were in the common room, and we could store our luggage after the check-out time. I stayed for a specific even on the island, so I didn't have much time to spend for other activities, but when I go back next time, I would definitely want to try the sand spa!

The onsen was wonderful and so was the dinner. The location is quite remote, but great for walking. Easy to get to by local bus.

Absolute nostalgia in traditional Japanese style with delicious dinners and hearty Japanese breakfasts. Though not suitable for anyone who can't cope with living on the floor (cushions and futon), I would bring first-time visitors here for the great experience. There are tables and chairs in the reception/dining area, available for use at any time.
