The location is superb. In front of Fuji San from every room and floor! Nearby towns has everything from restaurants to convini's. And it's all in an electric bike distance which you can borrow in place. beautiful interiors and cozy feeling.

This hotel is almost perfect. Super friendly and help staffs. Free shuttle bus service. Top level service. A hot spring you can see Mt. Fuji. Perfect view with Mt. Fuji and the lake. I don’t know what more I can ask for from this hotel. I felt so happy when I was in that room. The view from the room is exactly the same as you can see from the website. I have to wake up at 0700 to take photos of Mt. Fuji under the morning sun.

This property is perfect if you want to see Mt. Fuji. We had a mountain view room and we could see Mt.Fuji from our window. Very comfortable and clean and 2 minutes walk away from Mt. Fuji station. They also offer free basics like different teas, Japanese outlets, pajamas. Also they have a wonderful rooftop terrace from where you can directly see Mt.Fuji.

I think this may be my favourite hotel. The hotel & grounds are beautiful, the view is stunning, and the in-room private onsen was so amazing. Plus all the little touches made the experience so memorable - (mostly) refillable complimentary mini bar which had bottled beer, juice, and snacks, the scented volcanic rock and volcanic rock filtered water, the in-room fire that the staff can set up for you, and the filter coffee equipment, pajamas, and loungewear that is available! There is also complimentary free flow tiny canned beer, juice, and milk coffee from the public onsen, outdoor public fireplace that the staff can set up for you in the evenings, and the wi-fi is great. As a group of 7, we were provided the restaurant private room for every meal, with a beautiful view of the grounds. Truly had a magical experience at Fufu.

Wonderful spacious room. The western beds were very comfy and everything was clean and modern. There is a comfortable seating area in addition to the table and chairs. Very close to the station. We were kindly allowed an early check-in and to leave our bags on the day of check out. We were able to see Fuji from our tiny balcony -just over the neighbouring Family Mart. Highly recommended, we would return without hesitation!!

Excellent location with close up view of Mount Fuji on a clear day. Extremely clean rooms, beds, kitchen, toilet. Everything looks and feels new. Simple and fast check in check out process with the friendly staff. Super value for money. I highly highly recommend this hotel if you want a clean, value for money glamping experience with excellent view of Mount Fuji and close proximity to lake kawaguchiko.

Lovely hostel near Lake Kawaguchiko. The beds were comfy and had a small place to lock valuables, a light & an outlet. There was a big kitchen with everything you need and a big common area, so there was plenty of space to relax after a day of exploring. The location is perfect, close to a bus stop, a 2 minute walk to a Lawsons & a short walk to the lake. All the areas in the hostel were kept very clean, including the shower & toilets. We also got a voucher for free laundry which was great.

Staff very friendly, great location with mount fuji views. Traditional Japanese breakfast was amazing - provide us an amazing experience. We had a great view to the lake Kawaguchiko from our room. The hotel provide a pick up service from the station which was very helpful when we arrived.

Beautiful traditional hotel, right next to Lake Kawaguchi. The staff are absolutely wonderful - super accomodating and friendly. Our double room (lake facing) was beautiful, and we're glad we opted for lake view, as Fuji wasn't visible for most of our stay. The onsens are brilliant - so relaxing and fitted with lovely seated spaces with body lotions when you get out. The shuttle bus was a huge plus - very efficient. Overall lovely stay and we're pleased we booked!

The hotel location is great – even though there’s no direct view of Mt. Fuji, it’s only about a 20-minute walk to one of the best viewing spots by Lake Kawaguchiko. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While the service may not reflect the typical high standards of a traditional ryokan, they genuinely did their best to accommodate guests. The buffet meals were good – although they describe it as a “Western breakfast,” there were plenty of Japanese options available for both breakfast and dinner.

This is a beautiful hotel on the bank of Lake Kawaguchi. We had an amazing Japanese-style room. It had all the amenities and two large beds. The room was spacious and comfy. The best thing about the hotel was their onsen. We had 5 different hotels with onsens during our trip in Japan, but the onsen in this hotel was definitely the best. Would love to come back to this hotel on my next trip to Fuji.
