United KingdomWe were warmly welcomed by the owners and provided with drinks etc. The views from the property are stunning, there are wonderful walks to explore around the olive groves. The house is traditionally furnished and has lots interesting things to look at. Breakfast is served in a room overlooking a courtyard with an extensive view over the beautiful surrounding countryside. Breakfast is traditional Sicilian, bread and jams, yogurt and delicious homemade cake. The evening meals are superb, surpassing the best restaurants. There was lots of variety and amazing new flavours. The cook has a very deft touch. Definitely some of the finest food we have eaten. Our hosts were very patient and spoke good English so we were able to get lots of information about the area, for example about the ancient temple and archeological site at Segesta, which is a must see, breath taking. There was a genuine warmth to every thing they did, the perfect hosts who would make lovely friends.

MaltaWe stayed one night during a short motorbike trip in sicily.
A simple hotel with natural thermally heated pools.
The hotel also provided covered parking for our bikes even though they would have been fine parked in the external hotel grounds.
It's an old hotel that has an outdated appearance but is still very clean and all functional.
Friendly staff, equipped bar, nice thermally heated pools which could be used all year around
