This place is unique! Warm welcome, with all necessary information regarding to top tourist places, we were welcomed by Mariella. It was a great experience, Mariella loves her job, and I felt like home there. Room was very nice, as well as bathroom, 24/7 reception made us feel safe. Santo is another person who is a great spirit of this place. I will definitly return when in Rome again. Such places are like pearls, you know you are welcomed, and that makes your staying amazing. Thank you Mariella and Santo for your hospitality and kind care. You are amazing ♥️ Breakfast is available NEXT door, so you can enjoy staying with beautiful place and view. THANK YOU!!

Roman Forum

More palace than museum, El Prado is a true cultural treasure trove. Its hallowed halls hold one of the world’s finest collections of European art, from the fantastical figures of Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights to the dark, twisted beauty of Goya’s legendary Black Paintings. It needn’t cost the Earth either – in the evenings entrance is usually free.

Be prepared for a long walk. It is worth it.

Be prepared for a long walk. It is worth it. Make sure you have water with you, as there is very little shade, and in summer it gets very hot. The day we went, it was 40 degrees celsius. From here you can easily walk to the Coliseum, but make sure that you have prebooked tickets to both

Gone are the days of strolling through the Forum and sitting as the ancients did among the temples and spirits, remains of daily pre-modern life. But if you can take the time to get into the Forum in a quiet, personal way, it is an experience worth having. As a tourism tour, not so much. Try to enjoy ancient Rome quietly and peacefully, on your own with time and space to receive from it.

get the ticket from the coopculture.it who manage the whole site and the Colosseum. The total experience ticket is cheaper than a lot of the tickets offered by other companies and gets you access to areas that others don't including the stunning house of Olivia.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment in Rome! The location was absolutely perfect — right in the historic center, just a 10-minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and very close to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. There were plenty of lovely restaurants and cafes nearby, and everything was easy to reach on foot. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. Highly recommended!

We were a group of 6 people, and the apartment had enough room for all of us - very spacious. The location is perfect, less than 10 min from Colosseum and Roman Forum. And about 20 min to Termini station and around 20-30 min to most main attraction (except the Vatican City). There are also many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which made everything very convenient.

Buy the ticket for Colloseum at the enterence to Forum Romanum and Palatin, you will avoid giant line (3 attractions cost altogether 12 euro)! FAst track ticket for the VAtican Museum is also good idea (we did it), you can buy at the enterence to the St. Peter's Basilic. It is quite expensive, but it helps you to avoid huge line and to see both attractions during one day.
