Room was beautiful, decorated in traditional Italian style. Staff were so friendly. Spa facilities were so relaxing and a wonderful addition to the holiday.. Perfect sunset views from our room over the Mediterranean sea. Complete relaxation from start to finish, paradise. We can't wait to go back.

This feels like such a getaway, beautifully remote with gorgeous views on all sides. The pool is not over crowded and is a mineral pool so you’re not dealing with all the usual chemicals. We had breakfast included which was lovely and had some beautiful evening meals at the property in their a la carte restaurant and also in Sant’Angelo across the bay.

This charming, family-run hotel goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, catering to every guest’s needs, from personalized recommendations to accommodating special dietary requests. We had dinner included and food was also amazing, with typical recipes from Naples and Ischia. Both meat and fish dishes were served every other day. The hotel’s covered thermal pool is the perfect retreat, especially on rainy days. Located just a few meters from a public transport stop, it’s well-connected by Circular lines and Line 1, which offers frequent trips to Ischia port. The area boasts breathtaking surroundings, including a scenic 15-minute walk to the picturesque Sant’Angelo peninsula and easy access to the stunning Cavagrado beach nearby. During our stay, the small village of Succhivo (where the hotel is located) had loads of celebrations with fireworks and a stunning concert. Our bed was very comfortable and I would fall asleep in just a few minutes every day (and sleep like a baby 👶 ). Also, almost every other guest was a returning guest. I guess this last line says it all.

    Loved my stay here, very comfortable rooms. So close to Poseidon, Citara beach and the bus stop. The staff very really helpful particularly as they knew I was a solo female traveler. The bfast was great too and nice to have a pool in the hotel. I loved the area, it was quite relaxed and accessible.

    It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel and we were truly enchanted. We usually choose Ischia Porto for our stays, but precisely because Forio has such stunning hotels, we like to spend a few days here as well. Sorriso was an excellent choice, as it was a beautiful hotel with a sea view, great food, a gorgeous setting, and excellent facilities, including a pool that was always open. We also appreciate the shuttle service to Citara Beach. Thank you for the beautiful moments.

    Apartment had everything I could need. In a pretty location although just off a busy road with narrow pavements so it's better to have own transport to get to Forio/ shops etc. It's also very near a bus stop but the buses get very busy. Very comfortable bed. Walking distance from cava dell'isola and citara beach. Very welcoming, helpful and kind owners, I will definitely stay again.

    The small hotel is located perfectly overlooking the sea only some steps away from a nice beach with a perfect restaurant. Forio & Citara Beach incl. the beautiful Poseidon Terme are only a short walk away. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

    We loved staying at La Dea Del Mare. It is in an excellent position near Poseidon and a 5 minute stroll to Citara Beach. There are many restaurants and grocery shops nearby but we preferred to cook dinner at home and watch the sunset. Enrico the host is caring and goes out of his way to help. He arranged a taxi and made a booking at a restaurant for the one night that we went out. We would highly recommend staying here.

    The pool facilities and gardens are exceptional, the hotel is a tranquil haven to relax for a few days. The hotel is right by a free beautiful beach (Cava dell’Isola) and 15min walk from Citara beach and Poseidon thermal baths. It’s an easy 20min walk along the coast to Forio town, with amazing views of the sunset. Paola and Dario are the most incredible hosts, they are so welcoming and friendly!

    Very good location, Citara beach was 10 minutes walk away. Poseidon Terme is situated in the same location, close to Citara Beach. The atmosphere of the villa is very intimate, the stuff is very kind and helpful.

    The location was great: close to all Citara beaches and Poseidon spa park, but also right next to the bus station to get to other parts of the island and the port. The room was spacious and pleasant, with magnificent views over the Citara Bay. Special thanks to Francesco for his tremendous hospitality, attentiveness to all guests and homey atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Casa del Sol to everyone who plans to go on a seaside vacation to Ischia.
