The whole stuff is so friendly and helpful! Beautiful garden to wake up to and have breakfast in. Nice thermal pool for rainy weather. We used the laundry service, and got a lift from Dario to the bus stop when we left. All was great!

I went for a week with my teen daughter and we had the best of times. Our room was spacious with twin beds, a separate sopha, a desk, en suite bathroom and a lovely terrace with sea view towards St Angelo,one of the main attractions on Ischia. The hotel has a unique underground pool in a natural cave, which leads to an outdoors one situated on a secluded terrace overlooking theMediterranean. There is a separate small pool on the side. Both constantly fed with naturally hot mineral water. We had breakfast included and every day there were freshly made cakes in addition to croissants,cereal,continental ham&cheese. The hotel has two on site restaurants and a bar. For the evening, there is abundant set menu. You can choose from the dishes or get the lot. The set price for a starter, pasta dish, main and desert was what in other places you could be charged just for a main course. We were eating there every evening. I don't like pasta in principle, but i was having some all the time. The taste is delicious. The second restaurant is acantine with lighter options from regional cuisine. The resort has its own farm and tomatoes, aubergine, the olive oil or wine come from it. By now, you would have guessed I loved our stay. But I am honest about it. One final word about the hosts. From arranging the airport transfer from Naples, through to the waiters, Luigi taking us around to show what's where, the owner who beavers around on the tomato bed and gives you freshly picked beans, Mia,the 9 month dog and cats we were welcome as family. You feel they love what they are doing and they are one with nature.

    Loved my stay here, very comfortable rooms. So close to Poseidon, Citara beach and the bus stop. The staff very really helpful particularly as they knew I was a solo female traveler. The bfast was great too and nice to have a pool in the hotel. I loved the area, it was quite relaxed and accessible.

    It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel and we were truly enchanted. We usually choose Ischia Porto for our stays, but precisely because Forio has such stunning hotels, we like to spend a few days here as well. Sorriso was an excellent choice, as it was a beautiful hotel with a sea view, great food, a gorgeous setting, and excellent facilities, including a pool that was always open. We also appreciate the shuttle service to Citara Beach. Thank you for the beautiful moments.

    Apartment had everything I could need. In a pretty location although just off a busy road with narrow pavements so it's better to have own transport to get to Forio/ shops etc. It's also very near a bus stop but the buses get very busy. Very comfortable bed. Walking distance from cava dell'isola and citara beach. Very welcoming, helpful and kind owners, I will definitely stay again.

    The small hotel is located perfectly overlooking the sea only some steps away from a nice beach with a perfect restaurant. Forio & Citara Beach incl. the beautiful Poseidon Terme are only a short walk away. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

    We loved staying at La Dea Del Mare. It is in an excellent position near Poseidon and a 5 minute stroll to Citara Beach. There are many restaurants and grocery shops nearby but we preferred to cook dinner at home and watch the sunset. Enrico the host is caring and goes out of his way to help. He arranged a taxi and made a booking at a restaurant for the one night that we went out. We would highly recommend staying here.

    The pool facilities and gardens are exceptional, the hotel is a tranquil haven to relax for a few days. The hotel is right by a free beautiful beach (Cava dell’Isola) and 15min walk from Citara beach and Poseidon thermal baths. It’s an easy 20min walk along the coast to Forio town, with amazing views of the sunset. Paola and Dario are the most incredible hosts, they are so welcoming and friendly!

    Very good location, Citara beach was 10 minutes walk away. Poseidon Terme is situated in the same location, close to Citara Beach. The atmosphere of the villa is very intimate, the stuff is very kind and helpful.

    The location was great: close to all Citara beaches and Poseidon spa park, but also right next to the bus station to get to other parts of the island and the port. The room was spacious and pleasant, with magnificent views over the Citara Bay. Special thanks to Francesco for his tremendous hospitality, attentiveness to all guests and homey atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Casa del Sol to everyone who plans to go on a seaside vacation to Ischia.
