The room was well appointed, although a little smaller than I expected, but very comfortable with pillow options and good blackout curtains. The breakfast was excellent, cooked to order with a great choice of local and western options, plus a buffet for fruit and pastries. We had a wonderful waiter called Jason who made our mornings extra special with his recommendations and excellent service. The doormen were also fantastic, always courteous and helpful when our Uber went to the wrong pick up! We loved the location of the hotel as it was less frantic then other places and very peaceful, it's also great to walk along Marine Drive in the evenings and people watch. We had a great stay!

It was a really pleasant stay at St Regis Mumbai. Next to a shopping mall so it's easy to access to shops and restaurants. Having a butler service was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast is excellent with huge amount of varieties. Room is modern and my sleep was really good. Butler ritual service starts at 6.30pm and it was really nice to watch and celebrate. This is my 1st time watching and that really lift up the mood and atmosphere within the hotel. I had a chance to play on the grand piano offered by the hotel pianist, Steven so it was really nice to try on that.

    Make sure you visit after it has been restored. Right now it is mostly covered up with tarp as renovations are going on. Also, visit it in the day since it was very dark with limited lighting during our evening visit.

    It’s sad to see the iconic monument in complete neglect - it felt that the authorities are waiting for it to disintegrate and fall apart . A smelly toilet greets you as you alight from a taxi to enter the ramparts of the monument and the get pestered by photographers who still have not understood paper photos cannot be used in Social media - they just need their phones and charge Rs 10 for a click and add unique filters and they will be a rage .     We loved the majesty, charm and history of this hotel. The room was spacious, furnished and decorated with taste, with a beautiful view on the Gateway of India. The garden and the swimming pool were gorgeous too. The staff was caring and helpful and the breakfast, high tea and cocktail were delicious moments.

    The location was really good. Easy to walk to all the local sites: Gateway of India, Library, Clock Tower etc. There's air-conditioning in the room, which you can control so the room stays nice and cool at night.

    It's a AC dormitory, not hotel... But it's a neat and clean place to stay for males, location is very good, walking distance to CST, fountain , gateway of India, colaba, nariman point.. All main areas close by either walk or take a cab... But all within a short distance.
