My recent stay at Powerscourt Hotel was elevated to new heights, thanks to a truly heartwarming and thoughtful gesture from the manager. Celebrating my birthday during this luxurious retreat was made even more special by the unique touch of personalised attention. Upon returning to my room after a day of exploring the grounds, I was met with a delightful surprise—a beautifully adorned table featuring a small, delicious birthday cake. The attention to detail was impeccable, and it was evident that the manager had gone above and beyond to make this moment memorable. It was a delightful treat, and the accompanying birthday card added a warm, personal touch that left a lasting impression. What made this experience truly exceptional was the manager's genuine effort to ensure that my birthday was celebrated in a way that surpassed my expectations. This small but meaningful act not only showcased the manager's attention to detail but also reflected the overall ethos of Powerscourt Hotel—a dedication to making each guest feel special and valued. Convenient location, good value, space in room, friendly staff.

Great location, spacious and modern room, close to restaurant and bars and great value for money.

The room was very clean and cosy, the bathroom was brandnew with a waterfall shower and a hand shower (both). The room was cleaned and made every day and the supplies of coffee, tea, sugar and milk were replenished. We got new towels every day, although it wasn't really necessary. We could have had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, if we had wished so. The hotel is situated at the beach and there are many restaurants and bars where you can have a good time. We did not find it noisy though. You can also walk the cliff path from Bray to Greystones (approx. 6 km) which is gorgeous. The location of the hotel at the beach is splendid. The train station of Bray is approx. 300 m away (a 5-minute-walk), there is a train to Dublin every 10 minutes. The train ride into the centre of Dublin takes about 50 minutes though, because it has many stops. We did not mind, however, because we could plan our day in Dublin during that ride. There are also two supermarkets near the hotel, a SPAR and a TESCO, and many Take-away restaurants. We had a lot of privacy, we only talked to the receptionist when checking-in and checking-out, She was very friendly. You feel very welcome in this hotel, everybody was friendly and helpful.

Restaurant was great and breakfast was spectacular

It was a lovely place to stay and I particularly like the outside patio where you can sit with coffee before you go out or when you come back.
