Right across the road from an Aldi and SuperValu and had a couple of takeaway places close too, perfect for a bit to eat on the way home from the pubs. Cahir castle was beautiful and the apartment was very easy to find. Swiss Cottage was also good and we were so lucky with the weather. Avelene was very welcoming. The central location, proximity to the Cahir Castle and connection to the history of the area is wonderful.The hotel was warm and cosy.
