This hotel is part of a first-rate pub with excellent food. It is located within walking distance of Kew Gardens which was our main reason for visiting. Our room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. However, the greatest selling point for this hotel is the people. Alicia (sp?) at the front desk is a gem. She's efficient, humorous and always helpful. She made us feel very much at home and was there to help with any questions. We were also very fortunate to have Mandy as a server in the dining room; again, a very present, humorous and helpful lass, The pub also has an excellent pint of bitter.

A few minutes south of Twickenham High Street, The Alexander Pope Hotel is a modern, fully air-conditioned hotel with a traditional pub, overlooking the River Thames.

We choose this Hotel, for family reasons and it was a really surprise for us, I mean in a positive way. The staff at the front desk was amazing and supporting. She refunded us,for my mistake on the booking procedure. I did appreciate that. The hotel is so cute, clean and confortable. Location in front of the Tamigi is nice and with the train it can get London in 40 minutes.

Conveniently set in the centre of Richmond upon Thames, The Selwyn, Richmond is within 2.2 km of Kew Gardens and 3.7 km of Twickenham Stadium.

Delicious breakfast, delightful welcome upon arrival, all staff were helpful and charming. The attention to detail was remarkable was very much appreciated, especailly as I am a nit picker !

The staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to fulfil any of our requests and to ensure all our needs were met. Our room was one of the smaller ones as per booking but I was impressed by the unique design which allowed for maximum use of space in the room. The hotel provides a comfortable stay in an ideal location, close to attractions, transport routes, and only a short walk into town.
