The owner dropped some bedding off for the sofa bed before we arrived, at our request. There was plenty of room for us and it was a real home from home. We were close to Conwy castle which we could see from the front of the cottage, and near to llandudno and Colwyn bay. The owner Christine goes above and beyond to make sure you want to return! All of her guests are provided with tea, coffee, fresh bread and butter - she also provides fresh milk and cakes! And everything else you might need for a stress free stay. The location was perfect for Conwy castle and the surrounding areas with just a ten minute walk to the castle itself. The spacious kitchen is well-organised, really clean and tidy. The garden is well maintained and quiet. Well designed commute area including lounge, game room. Book shelves are found in most of the commute area. I can feel that YHA is serious on sustainability, warm reminders encourage travellers to reduce carbon emissions.
