Massive zoo! As this is a conservation zoo don't expect to see every animal as their enclosers are large for the animals to feel safe and comfortable. Chester Zoo vies (with Whipsnade) as the UK's best zoo. This is a stunning, world class zoo with a broad and mainly breeding collection, supporting associated conservation projects globally. I would like more detailed information available online about habitats/animals but on the ground, a day-long visit leaves you wanting even more. Enjoy! We were made to feel at home as soon as we walked through the door. Our room was fantastic, with everything we needed. After checking in we had a wander to look at all the facilities. Breakfast was excellent with a buffet we could help ourselves too. After a day visiting the Zoo we booked dinner when we got back and had a complimentary drink.
