Brixton

Brixton hits all the senses as soon as you emerge from the Tube station. Buskers line the street next to Brixton Village, where the aroma of cuisine from all corners of the globe mingles with the chatter of diners and drinkers. Close by, the Ritzy Cinema screens independent films galore, and it wouldn’t be London without a healthy dose of trusted pubs, scattered around the borough.

Great, location for Brixton academy and shopping. We enjoyed chilling out and having breakfast that I picked up from the Coop opposite and talking about the concert. The place was a good size and interesting layout. Well set up for self-catering.

Location is good, near the bus stop and Brixton metro stop. Staff is helpful with my big luggage. I read the review about the loud noise but in fact, this noise is not much (maybe because I'm in the 3rd floor). Breakfast is simple but ok, considering the hotel rate and we can take food as much as possible

The Home was absolutely great! Lovely comfortable apartment well equipped and very clean, with all appliances in a good condition. Excellent location. 2 mins away from Brixton underground station, located in such an amazing area with all you might need around: supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and not far away from the city center. Mo, our host was very pleasant, reachable and always willing to assist us with anything we might need. Next time we visit London, we are definitely staying here.

15 min walk away from Brixton Academy. Free parking after 2pm on Sat, and all day Sun although we moved to a car park in Richmond on the Sunday for ease of journey home. Easy to contact the property owner to arrange access to property, although we never actually met in person. Room itself was clean, shared bathroom on same floor. Ideal for a stop over for gigs.

What guests said about Brixton:

Check out all areas, don't use big chain names.

Check out all areas, don't use big chain names. Brixton has a great selection of cuisine from all over the world, and much better priced than central London. Don't judge restaurants by their appearance, look at the clientele, if it's busy then it's good.
