Honestly, all was great! The staff was very welcoming and helpful! We loved the interior, I think it’s nearly impossible to get a room with all amenities (so basically a studio) for such a price anywhere around this area. The room is spacious, perfectly equipped for a short stay. We appreciated the firm mattress so much! (it’s very rare to find in hotels!) Also, full sized shampoo, shower gel and lotion are much appreciated. Breakfasts are great for a short stay as well, we really appreciated fresh fruit and pastry, hash browns and poached eggs were delicious! :P Overall, the atmosphere is so cozy and enjoyable, the fact that you can hang out in the breakfast room area any time and have some tea, coffee water is nice. Also, we’ve never seen a hotel organize cute parties with free appetizers, beer and wine (every Monday-Wednesday evening if I’m not mistaken). It was simply delightful! 100% would recommend. 100% would stay here again.

Fantastic location, great room. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful bed, linen and pillows - I am very picky with beds, linen and pillows but these were superb! There was an issue with the water on my last day due to something that had occurred outside of the hotel. I was refunded one night accommodation. This was a gesture that really spoke to how good the staff was.

Brixton

Brixton hits all the senses as soon as you emerge from the Tube station. Buskers line the street next to Brixton Village, where the aroma of cuisine from all corners of the globe mingles with the chatter of diners and drinkers. Close by, the Ritzy Cinema screens independent films galore, and it wouldn’t be London without a healthy dose of trusted pubs, scattered around the borough.

Location was great for public transport links as we were visiting a venue in Brixton. It was around a five minute walk and 8 minute bus or 27 minute walk to get there. The property itself was very clean and comfortable. The host Lucy was very friendly and hospitable.

The location was great, opposite supermarkets and fairly near to Brixton station. The kitchen is decent, just a microwave and kettle, I believe... but fridge space. Above a pub with live music and Brixton with all the amenities aren't far away. There was only me and one other guy in the room, which was a nice one, so it was really quite a good stay..

What guests said about Brixton:

Check out all areas, don't use big chain names.

Check out all areas, don't use big chain names. Brixton has a great selection of cuisine from all over the world, and much better priced than central London. Don't judge restaurants by their appearance, look at the clientele, if it's busy then it's good.
