Better to have a car, as the apartment is a 20 minute uphill walk to Alpendorf, but the ski bus stop is 100m away. Lady at reception was incredibly friendly and hospitable and the room was very well priced. I've stayed in many places in Sankt Johann whilst skiing at Alpendorf and this was by far my favourite. The apartment has an amazing view of the valley and the area. The apartment is very well equipped and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need - just like at home. The location of the hotel is great - the cable car to the Ghost Mountain (Geisterberg Alpendorf) is a few hundred meters from the place and the Lichtenstein Gorge is a 5-minute drive away.
