Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Just perfect! Just out in the bush everything was clean and comfortable. The most friendly staff and a good kitchen. Great hiking possibilities as well to enjoy nature. They are building a new restaurant and will turn parts of the old restaurant/bar into rooms. Just hope they keep some parts of the current restaurant for a drink since it has the most beautiful views!

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. Everything was wonderful, the breakfast and dinner were great, the safari was amazing as well, we saw the big 5, even though it’s a small reserve compared to others, the animals were scattered and it was difficult to find them. Lovely experience, will definitely come again.

We had the best fun-filled weekend. The staff were all friendly, helpful and accommodating. The kids enjoyed all the activities. The forest walk is breathtaking. Food is delicious. Beds are comfy. The hot tub was amazing. The farm is stunning. Everything was explained in detail - great communication. The horses are well groomed and beautiful. My son loved the pony rides. We wanted a break to unwind where the kids won't be bored. This place is a true gem.. We will surely return
