This hotel is situated back from the hustle and bustle of the main street just down a lane, nestled between a stunning lagoon and mountains. We stayed in the tiny house with a lovely loft and had an amazing experience! The staff are all generous and welcoming, plus we got to know the beautiful golden retriever (Ginger) who lives at the property. The atmosphere is very relaxing and cosy! Breakfast was great, and there are cocktails and other drinks available in the evenings. There is also bike hire for a quick 5 min cycle into the main town or about a 30 minute walk. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough for a tranquil stay that felt as if we were in the mountains while still being very close to Cat Ba town.

We stayed at Cat Ba Wistaria for a few nights and honestly loved the whole vibe. It’s got all the modern stuff you’d hope for — a sleek room, solid Wi-Fi, rooftop jacuzzi, and even a small gym that actually works — but still feels really connected to the local side of Cat Ba. As a couple from Saigon, we’re a bit picky about comfort, but this place totally delivered. Super clean, comfy bed, and friendly staff who gave us real local tips instead of touristy ones. They pointed us to this tiny family-run spot down an alley for the best Canh Ca Thu we’ve ever had — absolute gem. The location couldn’t be better: walkable to the beach, night food street, and all the little shops. There’s not much dining inside the hotel, but with everything nearby, it’s not a big deal. Feels modern but still has that Cat Ba charm.

Super friendly and helpful staff ( They speak good english) Breakfast is a sort of buffet with many options. Our plan was to stay just one night but decide to stay another night for the good value of money of the place.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location was really handy for getting around and the housekeeping team kindly dried out clothes for us when they wouldn't dry in our room.

The resort will provide guests with air-conditioned rooms offering a desk, a kettle, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a shower. The rooms have a wardrobe. Great place to recharge for a few days, mainly because of the amazing location and huge amount of facilities. All for a very decent price. We decided to extend our stay with a night - would for sure recommend! Main things that made our stay were: - Great location, in a private bay with two private sand beaches and a nice cliffwalk connecting it to a third beach. Especially with all the construction going on in Cat Ba town, its a very nice and quiet place (dec'24) - Overall aesthetic of the hotel is great, integrating the multiple buildings into the bay with its colors, plants, pools and walkways. - Room with seaview - Great Onsen & Spa facilities - The hotel and facilities were not crowded at all, at some times the hotel even felt pretty empty
