We only spent one night at Dar el Kif and we regretted it because we had a great time and the neighbourhood of La Marsa is lovely! The hotel is less than 15 minutes from a large beach, and within easy reach of Sidi Bou Said and Carthage. The hotel premises are wonderful and the rooms very spacious and clean. Hedi was very kind, helpful and makes a killer shakshuka! He also has a very sweet kitten who was a pleasure to play with :) if you want to experience a relaxing and pleasant stay, my partner and I highly recommend Dar el Kif!

We were a group of nine celebrating a milestone birthday, and from the moment of arrival, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Mehdi, together with his dedicated team, ensured that our experience was both seamless and memorable. The level of service exceeded all expectations. No request was too great or too small, and we always felt genuinely cared for. The villa itself was impeccably maintained, with daily cleaning that ensured the highest level of comfort throughout our stay. The complimentary airport transfers to and from the villa were a much-appreciated gesture, setting the tone for the outstanding hospitality that followed. Villa L’Orchidee offers not only luxury and comfort but also the kind of attentive service that makes a trip truly unforgettable. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional stay in Tunis. I will be returning next time l am in Tunis.

A beautiful Dar in the centre of Sidi Bou Said located on a quiet but accessible side street just metres from the action. The property was beautiful and would be great value for money for up to 4 people. I stayed myself but was still worth it! I was blown away by the traditional architecture and style of the property. Unfortunately I could only stay 2 nights, I’d loved to have stayed longer. The host was very hospitable and helped me arranging payment as you cannot yet pay by credit card. I didn’t have a car, but they offered me free parking pass at the car park nearby.
