Grand Hotel Balvanyos enjoys a tranquil location surrounded by forests, between Băile Tuşnad and Târgu Secuiesc, less than 10 km from the Saint Ana Lake. Free spa access is offered. Everything was perfect. We had both rooms in the main hotel and in the villas, and they were both beautiful, clean and comfortable. The view is glorious. There were no bears around the property as in past years. The spa is awesome, especially the saunas. The food is so good, and the main restaurant is gorgeous. We also tried the pizza place in the new building and it was delicious and the view was glorious. We'll be back!

Located in Zabala, in a picturesque area 6 km from Covasna, Zabola Estate - Transylvania is a guesthouse set on a 500 hectares private domain, including a meadow and a forest. Nestled in Transylvania, this restored set of Castles and the enormous estates & forest around it are a true natural paradise. Food was excellent as was the service. We stayed in one of the restored rooms of the Machine Room full of old world charm. They also have newly constructed rooms. We had wonderful bear sightings with the Ranger from the Estate
