Wonderful compound - a historical monastery where the original spirit and details are nicely maintained and incorporated. Most impressive was the Church that was still there and active, incorporated in the domain. One of the most beautiful Churches we saw on our trip in Portugal. Nice outside pool area and a little spa and inside pool.

Situated between Alqueva and Pedrógão, municipality of Vidigueira in Alentejo, and 9 km from the Alqueva dam, this charming country house offers air-conditioned rooms with cable TV. The whinery is perfectly located in the middle of the vineyard, a little piece of heaven. The food is really good at the restaurant and the wines are all just perfect! The staff is super friendly and very happy to help, that also definitely contributes to the entire experience.

All in all, a very pleasant stay.
